Besides, I am my Mothers' daughter after all.
Back to my wordless post.
I'm sure when you look at the picture of Uncle Andrew's dog "Bailey" you'll think to yourself, "Isn't she a cute little poodle!"
And you'd be right except that She is a HE and most importantly...
NOT a poodle.
He's a Bichon Frise and he's supposed to have a poofy head and tail. More like a Q-tip and less like a drowned rat.
Good news is that it will grow in and I got to write a blog post about it.
P.S. Isn't the bow a nice added touch and I didn't even get a picture of his crocheted sweater. Not that there's anything the matter with bows and sweaters unless you care about the fact that your dog is the laughing stock of the dog park. Just saying.

ReplyDeleteHave a wooftastic week and thanks for stopping by ;-)
Love it - I'm sure that Bailey's dad is glad he left the pooch in your trusted care. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh no! Now all the other dogs will be teasing him/her... poor puppy!
ReplyDeleteAwwww. poor pup!

The neighborhood pit bulls and dobermans are just waiting around the corner for a dog like this. Show a canine brother a little dignity.
ReplyDelete(I've had my share of bad haircuts - but they've only involved forced baldness, never little bows).
Thanks for stopping by and showing Bailey some love. He could use it.
DeleteI appreciate you including my submission in your latest post. Really great piece, http://coachdaddyblog.wordpress.com/2013/09/18/a-coachs-lesson-in-6-words/
Besos, Sarah
Aw, well I think he looks cute as can be anyway! lol
ReplyDeleteHe is still cute. I dig his bow. Have a good day Sarah.
ReplyDeleteAhhh what a cute poodle!
ReplyDeleteI've had a bichon before, and the groomer I took her to didn't know what she was and clipped her as a poodle too. Now I have coton de tulears another relative of the bichon family, and I have never taken them to the groomer. I didn't want the poodle cut again!

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Cindy. It's always nice to hear from you. Congratulations on the latest addition to your family. My Mom keeps me updated on all of you.

Lol! I also have a bichon frise, so its funny when people try to make them look like poodles. It doesn't even look good on poodles. lol. Bichons are such sweet dogs!
ReplyDeleteAww!! Either way, he's adorable!! (Just a word of advice: Before you take him to the dog park in his new crocheted sweater, embroider the name "Spike" on it! Lol)
