UPDATE! You can now find us over at journeysofthezoo.com
This is probably the only time that you'll hear me say this.
No, we've not been hacked and/or taken hostage by The Kids.
Yes, I'm serious.
The reasoning?
Journeys of The Zoo Website is Under Construction.
If you're technical, it's probably sufficient to say that we're moving from Blogger to WordPress.
If you're not, then you probably think that you're on the wrong blog because this one talks Chinese. Rest assured, all is right with The Zoo.
To make a long story short, it's kind of like Aunt Sally is making her famous Pavlova but she ran out of one of the ingredients so instead of serving it for dinner tonight, she's going to go out tomorrow and get the ingredient so that you can have your Pavlova.
On Monday, September 30.
I'm sure you're thinking what I'm thinking, What will I do with my day!?
If you're really stuck, do what we're doing, go to Mountain Apple Orchard for a three year olds birthday party. Isn't that what everyone does when their website is Under Construction?
No matter what you do, please don't leave a comment. Unless you don't want me to see it, in that case, leave all the comments you want.
I will not get any new comments.
For Today Only.
Bottom line, our website will be Under Construction for ONE DAY (if everything goes according to plans).
On Monday, September 30, I will write a post titled "New Look, New Feel, Same Old Journeys of The Zoo" (or something like that, I've been known to change my mind).
And now back to your regularly scheduled program.
Beeeeeeeeep.

Thank you for the heads up!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the heads up. Can't wait to see your new site.
ReplyDeleteJust curious...Why the switch? I had been thinking of making the move the past couple of years, but I've never taken the plunge. It just seemed to get too complicated to do myself, and I didn't want to hire anyone. And I'm OK with blogger for now, I guess.
I've thought about switching. I still can't decide.
ReplyDeleteSurprised to hear your moving from Blogger to Wordpress, especially since blogger is automatically syndicated to Google + now. I've heard of may people moving from Word press to blogger, but never the other direction. What is it that holds the appeal for you with Word Press. I've used many platforms, but Blogger is still my favourite, especially for SEO, and the price too!
ReplyDeleteyour comments still show up under this blog... what's the new addy, I need it!
