Peace of Mind with Snuza Baby Monitor $99, US/CAN, 11/30

Snuza Go Logo Journeys of The Zoo is pleased to be a part of this group giveaway for a Baby Movement Monitor hosted by S.O.S. Mom and generously sponsored by Snuza.

The best part, there will be TWO winners that will have that added peace of mind.

We all have to sleep sometime.

Before I brought the kids home from the hospital, I looked into getting an "infant apnea monitor". I was told that the pads had high rates of false positives, especially if they rolled right off (a friend has since confirmed this fact) so I didn't get one. I was apprehensive and lost a lot sleep but didn't know about the availability of the Snuza line of products.

The Snuza go! is different because it clips over the waistband of the babies diaper and senses tummy movement no matter where they sleep. It is extremely portable and perfect for at home, when travelling or when visiting friends and family. The Snuza go! has an audible alarm that can be set to alarm after 15, 18 or 20 seconds from last movement sensed. Snuza's are made with hypo-allergenic, medical grade plastics; and importantly, does not send or receive radio frequency signals.

Snuza Baby Monitor Their website states the following key features:

  • Slips over the waistband of the diaper, where tummy movement is best sensed,

  • Ergonomically designed to fit comfortably on babies diaper,

  • Placement next to babies abdomen means more accurate detection,

  • Battery operated (nothing to get tangled or cause harm),

  • Portability means it offers protection everywhere,

  • Smallest, lightest monitor on market (weighs only 1 ounce and fits in your palm).

If you're interested in hearing more about this product and their other lines which include; Snuza Video, Snuza Hero and Snuza Trio, I suggest that you watch this video as it contains a lot of useful information and facts.

  4. And my niece also just had a baby boy! She really needs a monitor, she's a first time mom and very nervous, so she doesn't sleep very well. This would help her relax a little!

  8. I am a very over protective mother...the monitor I have has a lot of static and I would like to have something that directly monitors the baby like this...I didn't actually know that there were products like this so I am pleased to be able to enter to win one. My infant son had an episode of difficulty breathing 5 days after coming home and I have worried every night since...I keep a penlight by the bed so I can check his breathing at night...and he sleeps in his crib in our room.
